New Travel Bookmarking Scoring Sytem - Score out of 100

There are big changes happening at Travel Bookmarking and we think you're going to love them.

You'll notice a new site scoring system rolling out over the next few days.

Basically sites are now given a score out of 100. The listings are dynamic and for different categories, we'll be publishing top ten lists on a 3 monthly (ish) basis. This means if you don't agree with a sites score or think we've missed someone important then you have plenty of time to let us know.

New sites will have a temporary default score of 25/100. Sites added by our senior members will have a default score of 40/100. These are temporary scores which will be changed once our editors get round to a full review of each site - Not sure how long that will be but we'll try to get to them all quickly.

We will be constantly improving our grading system over time. We are keen to include user voting in the scoring algorithm along with industry expert input. For the time being a large percentage of our grading is done in-house.

For that reason, we want to be as transparent as possible with the scoring criteria, so over the next few days we'll be running blog posts on the seperate criteria we use. This means you'll be able to see exactly why your site scores the way it does and hopefully we can also give you some tips on how to build a better travel website along the way.

I have passed a very good

I have passed a very good time with your blog. It is really very good work. I want this on-line travel to be about "people's travel" and real life needs of the travelers, not just another fancy corporate website. This scoring system must obviously be in tune with the greatest needs of travel consumers. Your research to our benefit.
